About 2' IEK

The First Step to a Great Career

What started in 2005 with just 40 students has grown to become one of the top culinary arts colleges. Our new, 40,000-square-foot facility, with its full-service restaurant, pastry and coffee shop, makes it possible for us to do even more to ensure our students graduate with solid credentials in the culinary arts, including the real-life experience that strengthens their knowledge and professionalism.
Baker College’s Culinary Institute of 2'IEK is more than a cooking school. We immerse our students in both the art and business of the culinary arts in a curriculum structured to combine personalized instruction and hands-on training with plenty of real-world experience. Our instructors are working professionals in the food service industry, and our current instructor-to-student ratio is the lowest of any culinary program in the state.

We’re Interested in Your Success

Our admissions process includes more than filling out forms and reviewing transcripts. We look closely at your background, and work closely with you to explore your interests, discuss career possibilities and financial issues, and help you define your educational and professional goals and objectives.
If the culinary arts is your passion, we make sure you graduate with all the skills and education you need to be successful throughout your career.
